Here at Peter Pan, our cooks both hold relevant food hygiene qualifications and have a passion for providing a variety of healthy and nutritious meals. These include a morning snack, cooked lunch and afternoon tea. Additionally; 

• We source our meat, fruit and vegetables from our local suppliers allowing us to support our local community.

• Our meals are freshly prepared and cooked on-site in our large fully equipped Kitchen.

• Our menus are based on a three weekly rotation and have been designed in consultation with Bristol City Council’s nutrition guidelines, these are displayed within the nursery. Recipes are available to parents on request.

• All of our staff are aware and respectful of dietary requirements, taking into account cultural beliefs and allergies.

• Fresh water is available throughout the day and is easily accessible or offered to younger children, with water stations within the rooms for children to access independently.

• Our mealtimes provide opportunities for the children to learn many social skills with staff members modelling good table manners and a positive approach to new foods.
